01

Overview

Entrepreneur Legacy Formation (“ELF”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and a private peer community for business owners. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We keep data collection to what we actually need to run the community and respond to enquiries. We do not sell personal information.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site, we collect the details you enter, typically your name, business, email address, the reason for reaching out, and anything you write in the message field.

Membership and event information. If you join a circle or attend a session, we keep records related to your membership, attendance, dietary or accessibility requirements you share with us, and any notes needed to run the session.

Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server and security logs, which may include IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use this to keep the site available and secure.

03

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, assess membership fit, administer circles and events, send information you have asked for, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

If you opt in to updates, we use your email address to send occasional notes about sessions and the Leadership Lens series. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us.

04

Confidentiality of sessions

Sessions are confidential by default. What is shared in a circle, workshop, or dinner stays with the people in the room. Session notes are distributed to attendees only, and we do not attribute anything you say publicly without your permission.

05

Cookies and analytics

This site is built as a set of static pages and does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add privacy-respecting analytics, it will be limited to aggregate measures such as page views and referrers, without profiles of individual visitors.

Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page loads.

06

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email provider, and event venues, and only to the extent needed for them to do that work.

We may introduce you to a specialist or advisor at your request. We ask first, and we share only what you agree to.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

07

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to twenty-four months, membership and event records for as long as you are a member and for the period afterwards required by our accounting and legal obligations, and server logs for a short rolling window set by our host.

08

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where we are not required to keep it, or stop sending you email. Write to us and we will respond within thirty days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the GDPR. We honour those requests regardless of where you are.

09

Security

We use reputable providers, restrict access to member information to the people who need it, and review that access periodically. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required.

10

Children

This site and community are intended for business owners and are not directed at anyone under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting members will also be sent by email.
